The philosophy of Eye Correction Centre is to deliver the best possible care to our patients. The highest standards of care can only be achieved by direct delivery of care by highly qualified consultants. In additional, the consultants have also completed their fellowship training and are highly regarded amongst their peers, often receiving tertiary referrals for management of complex Ophthalmological conditions.
Cataract surgery restores clear vision by replacing the eye’s clouded natural lens with a clear artificial one. At our private Bangor Eye Clinic, patients benefit from advanced technology, personalised treatment, shorter waiting times, and expert care—ensuring excellent visual outcomes and a comfortable, efficient surgical experience.
We are pleased to offer comprehensive consultations for Refractive Lens Exchange (RLE) and Laser Eye Surgery at our clinic in Bangor, designed to help you achieve greater visual freedom and reduce dependence on glasses or contact lenses. During your consultation, our consultants will assess your eye health, vision prescription, lifestyle needs, and long-term goals to determine the most suitable treatment.
RLE involves replacing the eye’s natural lens with a premium artificial intraocular lens to correct refractive errors and can also address age-related vision changes such as presbyopia and early cataracts. Laser Eye Surgery, including procedures such as LASIK, LASEK, SMILE and PRK, gently reshapes the cornea using advanced laser technology to improve how light focuses on the retina, effectively treating short-sightedness, long-sightedness, and astigmatism. Our personalized consultations provide a detailed explanation of each procedure, expected outcomes, recovery times, and tailored recommendations — ensuring you feel confident and fully informed about your vision correction.
