Mr Abhinav Loomba is a Consultant Ophthalmologist with advanced training in cornea, anterior segment and cataract surgery. He completed specialist fellowships at the world-renowned LV Prasad Eye Institute and now works as a Consultant in the UK.
He has performed more than 7,000 cataract operations – including complex cases with premium lens implants – and over 700 corneal transplant procedures (PK, DMEK, DSAEK, DALK). He also provides advanced care for keratoconus, offering corneal cross-linking and intracorneal ring segment (ICRS) implantation, as well as comprehensive dry eye management.
In addition, Mr Loomba is experienced in ocular surface stem cell transplantation for complex corneal and ocular surface disease.
Alongside his clinical work, Mr Loomba has published widely in international journals and presented at leading conferences. He is passionate about combining the latest advances in eye surgery with a patient-focused approach to deliver excellent outcomes.
